"I just wanna graduate." - Forzen

Forzen is a character and minor antagonist in Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware. A lone HECU Marine, he operated in a unit entirely by himself. He is a slow and obstinate man, as well as a liar. He was ironically killed in a firefight with the HECU.

Forzen is played by socpens.

Basic Information[]

Forzen is a United States marine. He says that he is the only one on Team...s Nice, and is only in Black Mesa because he wants to graduate. He can be very stingy and rude, and often passes off life-threatening situations as mere annoyances. He is also deceptive and somewhat childish, as seen in his interest in Beyblades. He was found by the Science Team, who tried to interrogate him, before he casually walked away, exclaiming "UGH, So annoying." He even tried to trick Tommy by giving him a Beyblade, and then walked right off the edge of a 500 foot pit. After this, he attempted to capture Sunkist by putting him in a circle of turrets. Forzen claimed that he was going to kill the dog, but his plans were foiled, as Sunkist was immortal. Forzen sometimes speaks French for no reason, and his motives are puzzling. He says that he wants Gordon to "dispel the rumors that the IRATE Gamer ripped off the Angry Video Game Nerd". When Gordon asks what he means, he screams "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Eventually, the Science Team corners him, but before he can answer their questions, he says "Wait, hold on-" and disappears.

Fate[]

Forzen's fate is unknown. There is a possibility that he is one of many other HECU marines that Adrian Shephard sees in Black Mesa. Benrey claims to have killed him.

Trivia[]

  • When Forzen disappears after being cornered, it was actually Mike teleporting him away too early.
  • The United States Marine Corps does not use berets.
  • Military casualties to friendly fire are more common than a civilian expects (estimated to be 2% to 20% of all casualties in battle), as seen with cases such as US Army Ranger Specialist Pat Tillman and British Army Lance Corporal Matthew Ford.
  • During Act II, while being interrogated, Scorpy tried to use the Vox by typing "a beyblade with 3 bitbeasts has been found" in the chat, which didn't work, as the Vox can only say pre-recorded words and is not really a text-to-speech program.
